Start reading some information on design - your 3 log book entries for this week and next week should be on design issues. Week #8 Assignments Week ending July 20th |
You should also look at more of the design sites and more of the example sites
that I have given you - look at 8. You should also tell me about two sites that
you have found and liked. Be specific - what do you like about them? Needless to
say, I want the site address! Sites to check and evaluate Find a source on JavaScript on the Web or buy a thin book on JavaScript and do some reading. Be sure you read about Events! Start looking at the JavaScript examples on the Web (look at them through Explorer to get the code). I would suggest looking at the ones up to the if and time examples closely and also looking over the ones up through the flickering examples. Also, be sure to look at the first two PowerPoint presentations on JavaScript. |

Week #10 Assignments Week ending August 3rd |
Continue working on JavaScript - reading and experimenting! Second web site assignment Information on design and implementation of the site When you take the final, you will find a lot of these sites useful references to go to for information in answering questions! Important: I am going away to Europe for two weeks. Continue to send assignments to the usual account. Needless to say I will not be correcting until I get home! Research information about attracting people to your site etc. - you will find the references from
last week very helpful! Look at Composer (in Netscape) or FrontPage. You need to spend no more than two hours playing with one of these packages. Pass in the results! See note under Week #10 about contacting me! |

Listserv sign-up I suggested these two because I am quite confident they are not selling names. Another site that I have had no bad experiences with is the one at Poor Richard's. In fact, I am looking for a sign up for a listserv so if you have one you want to sign up for, go ahead and send me a copy of the confirmation. I will be home mid week! |
