Write a short paper or handout to give to the students in a science or
history type course explaining how to determine if a web site is a good source
for reliable information.
- Research the topic - you should
read and site for me at least three articles dealing with validating the
sources of information. You
will find some links at my site.
Be sure to site the articles you used.
- Assume that you are a college
instructor or high school teacher explaining to your students how to make
sure that that the information they get off the web is factual and
reliable. What guidelines will you give your students?
- Be sure to be very complete
and comprehensive so the students will have a good basis to use in doing
their research.
