For the next few weeks, I am going to have you work on a practice set of pages. They do not have to make a lot of sense - but they have to show your mastery of the things we are trying.

• division
• ordered list
• unordered list
• definition list
• blockquote
• 4 style type things such as bold, italics, emphasis, subscript etc
• a series of spaces
• a break

I also want you to use some CSS to add style to your page:

• background color
• default font color
• a different font color for a specific element such as a header or a list
• a horizontal line

I want you to experiment with validation. If you do not validate you will loose ten points. If you validate transitional instead of strict, you will loose five points
